We are pleased to announce a new promotion called the Lyrics Dump Promotion! In this promotion, you get to choose what single or singles Katt McConnell will be releasing next. We are currently in the midst of Stage I of this promotion.

Stage I of the Lyrics Dump Promotion is being carried out through The Liner Notes. At least once a month until June of 2012, lyrics to new songs will be posted on the blog. You can view prior Lyrics Dump posts either by using the tag or by clicking the links to the right. Along with these lyrics you will find a bit of background information for each song. As the months pass, you will be able to sample these songs at Wax Chaotic performances across the Midwest. Then on June 11th at 10:00 am, there will be another related post made to The Liner Notes that will start Phase II of the promotion.

Phase II is when voting opens. Voting is how you decide which of Katt McConnell's song(s) Dragon Scale Studios will produce next. The blog post that opens the polls will include audio samples of each song as well as buttons accompanying each song title so that you can place your vote(s). Each vote costs $1 (USD). Each song that receives at least ten votes will be recorded and released as a single.

If you vote for a track that gets recorded, you are automatically entitled to a FREE download of that track.

If you vote a total of ten times, whether for one track or for multiple tracks, you are automatically entitled to a free download of ALL of the Lyrics Dump songs that get recorded.

Voting will be open from 10:00 am EST on Monday, June 11th to 10:00 pm EST on Friday, June 15th. You will have five days to get your votes in.

The recording schedule will be subject to how many songs receive enough votes for recording and will also be influenced by Wax Chaotic's summer tour schedule. However, we hope to have everything recorded and released no later than October 1st.

Katt is very excited to get back into the studio in order to share her new music with you, but we need your help. We cannot continue on to Stage III, that being the recording stage, without our fans making their opinions known. So mark June 11th on your calendars and keep an eye out for when the polls open!
